2024+ Can-Am DPS Torque Sensor Repair Service — Fault Code P0550

This is a repair service, not a part for sale. Purchase this listing, ship your complete DPS assembly (with housing) to us, and we will return it fully repaired within 1–3 business days of receipt.
Important — Read Before Ordering This service is specifically for fault code P0550 (Power Steering Torque Sensor Redundancy Failure). If your DPS module is showing P1F00 or P0562 instead, you need a different service. Visit our standard Can-Am DPS Module Repair listing here.
What to Send This service requires the complete DPS assembly with housing — not just the module. Do not remove the module from its housing before shipping. Send the entire assembly.
  • Fault code P0550 Power Steering Torque Sensor Redundancy Failure — internal torque sensor fault inside the DPS assembly.
  • No power steering assist Loss of DPS assist caused by internal torque sensor failure — heavy steering effort with P0550 stored.
Have a different fault code?
If your DPS module is showing P1F00 or P0562, this is not the right listing. See our standard Can-Am DPS repair service here.
  • Fault codes P1F00 or P0562 These are module-level faults covered by our separate DPS module repair listing — not a torque sensor issue.
  • Physical damage from accidents or impact Contact us before ordering if the assembly has been physically damaged.
  • Damage from prior repair attempts Contact us before ordering if the assembly has been previously opened.
  • DPS faults caused by wiring, connectors, or external sensors Verify wiring and connectors before sending — these causes will not be resolved by this service.
  • Fault codes not listed above Contact us before purchasing if your fault codes differ.

Unsure which service you need? Contact us before purchasing — we can help you identify the correct repair.
