- Your instrument cluster Must be already rebuilt or in known working condition — cluster repairs are a separate service.

- Two working PATS keys Both keys are required for a successful programming. If you only have one, contact us — we can cut and program a second key for $50.

The 2003–2005 Thunderbird uses a PATS configuration that requires the cluster and PCM to be paired together as part of the key programming process — not just the keys to the vehicle. Most locksmith tools handle standard PATS key programming but are not set up to handle this cluster-PCM pairing step. This is where the process breaks down. We perform both steps together, which is why we need all three components: the cluster, the PCM, and both keys.
- This is a programming service, not a repair service and not a part for sale.
- You are responsible for packaging all components securely so they will not be damaged in shipping. If we receive anything damaged we will always send you a picture.
- This service guarantees PATS key programming only. We cannot guarantee the vehicle will start if there are other underlying no-start conditions unrelated to PATS security.
- If there is a problem after receiving your programmed components, contact us. We will work to resolve any PATS-related issue within the 30-day window.

Step 1
After purchase, carefully remove the unit from your vehicle.
At this time please take pictures of your unit for your records. (This is to help in the case it gets damaged or scratched up)
Step 2
Securely pack your unit, using a suitable box so that your unit will not get damaged during shipment. Include the following Information:
- Your Name
- Include Order # (on the box)
- Return Address
- Contact Phone Number
- Description of Issues with your unit
- Vehicle Year, Make, and Model
- LED COLOR (if you are purchasing a service that includes LEDs)
Packaging Guidelines: Please wrap your item securely with at least 2 inches of bubble wrap or protective cushioning on all sides. Please note that we are not responsible for parts damaged during transit; if your package arrives broken, we will contact you.
