Sent in cluster and FDIM for repair. I am in a 2009 Ford F150 and after putting it all back together the FDIM comes on and then goes off. It started making the repaired cluster blink and cut out in display so I disconnected the FDIM and have not seen any issues so far with the cluster.
I am saying this so in the event another 2009 Ford F150 owner has a dim cluster and FDIM that fades or goes off after ignition is activated you know to unplug yours and find a replacement FDIM. If you match part number you don’t have to program the FDIM to the truck.
I was unclear if the instrument cluster was causing my issues. I sent it for repair, and received it back very quickly. I hoped there would have been more information regarding what they did to it, and did not get a clear answer when I called to ask. I still have the same issue with my truck, looking into other causes.
ACS did a great job. Will use again if needed.
This was my first time using this company and they provided me with the best service. I’m am very satisfied I gave them 5 stars.
Quick turn, fair price and it worked like it was new!
