Gauge faults and LCD issues on these Caterpillar clusters can sometimes originate from a sensor failure, a wiring harness fault, or a CAN bus communication issue rather than the cluster itself. If the cluster tests normally on the bench, we will still perform a full service covering all known failure points. However, if the problem returns after repair, the root cause may be elsewhere in the machine. At this time please take pictures of your unit for your records. (This is to help in the case it gets damaged or scratched up)
